Once fondly lov’d, and still remember’d dear, 

Sweet early object of my youthful vows, 

Accept this mark of friendship, warm, sincere,

Despite their sweet songs mockingbirds are notoriously ill-tempered. This bird looks exceptionally severe and judgmental.
