USS Wasp [LHD 1] and USS Iwo Jima [LHD 7], at the BAE Yards in Norfolk, Virginia. Both of these are amphibious assault ships in the Wasp class, but the Wasp (at left) is entirely out of the water, riding high in the BAE drydock Titan. Both of these vessels carry a variety of helicopters and Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft, and crews of over 1000 sailors.
