In the foreground is Yaqui Ridge in the United States. Everything beyond is in Sonora, Mexico. If you click to enlarge the image, a portion of the current border wall can be seen left of Yaqui Ridge. This section of wall, constructed in the early 2000s, is about 17 feet tall (5 m).

Pyrrhuloxia (Cardinalis sinuatus) at San Pedro House, Cochise County, Arizona.

The pyrrhuloxias are getting chummy for the winter. During my walk I saw several small flocks of ten to fifteen birds palling around and feeding together.
