Interior of the barn at Little Boquillas Ranch. All of the outbuildings I explored here were prone to weird atmospheres and eerie wind-made sounds. In the barn I found the mummified carcass of a coatimundi. Nothing too creepy about that, right?

My kingdom for a dichotomous key! The best I can figure, this is a type of gilia in the phlox family—possibly star gilia (Gilia stellata). Those Carolina blue anthers should make this an easy ID, but I am stumped.
